  3. This list is a peace of crap.
The lake district, where in the lake district?
    The lake district is huge.
It's like saying the best place to visit in Switzerland is Switzerland.
    And Sicily, where on Sicily?
Palermo, Siracusa, Messina, Catania, Noto, Mount Etna, Marsala.
    Big differences there actually.
And Pompeii is definitely not worth a visit.
Only if you like going in line with thousands of other tourists.
This list have been made by people that has never been to Italy.

  4. Bellisimo! . The most important country in the world regarding its influence in culture, arts, gastronomy, technology inventions, etc. The occidental civilizations owes pretty much everything to Italy ??

  5. My daughter and I went to Italy last summer. It was my first time there and her second. Oh my goodness, I love it so much. I have traveled many places, but Italy has something that makes it so special. The people are wonderful, the food is out of this world, the architecture is beautiful, the history is rich, the art, the music. You can just spend a day walking and enjoy it. I am actually homesick for Italy, if that is possible. I cannot wait to go back.
